Riaz Bandali
VP and GM, Global Early Clinical Research, MDS Pharma Services

RIAZ BANDALI was appointed Vice-President and General Manager of Global Early Clinical Research for MDS Pharma Services in July 2006. Previously Riaz held the position of Senior Vice-President, Operations and Business Development at MDS Sciex, a global leader in analytical instrumentation for the life sciences industry. From 1995-2002, Riaz held a variety of progressive positions within MDS Capital, a $1 billion life sciences venture fund, including serving as Vice-President and Venture Partner from 1999-2002. Riaz has served on the Board and Audit Committees of several health and life-sciences companies in Canada and the US and has operated as the CFO and Sr. VP of Business Development for two biotechnology start ups. Riaz holds an MBA from McGill University in Montreal and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of British Columbia.
